Stairlift Rental

Renting a stairlift is often a practical option for anyone who finds stairs becoming difficult but would prefer to avoid the higher upfront cost of purchasing a new stairlift.

A rental provides safe and reliable access to the upper floor of your home, with professional installation and ongoing support included. Some customers choose rental for a shorter period, while others simply prefer the flexibility it offers.

In most cases, installation can be completed within a few working days of the home survey.

Stairlift Rental for Straight Staircases

Our straight stairlift rental packages start from £650 for up to 12 months:

This price is fully inclusive and covers:

• Installation
• Removal at the end of the rental period
• Breakdown cover during normal office hours

Stairlift Rentals for Curved Staircases.

For staircases with turns or landings, curved stairlifts can also be rented.

Prices typically start from:

  • £950 including installation for the first six months
  • £650 for each additional six-month period

The exact price depends on the shape and complexity of the staircase, including the number of bends and whether a hinged track is required.

Even with these factors, renting a curved stairlift can be significantly more affordable than purchasing a new one outright, which can often cost several thousand pounds.

Fast, Professional Installation

Our experienced engineers aim to complete installation within a few working days of the home survey, helping you regain safe access to your home as quickly as possible.

All stairlifts are fitted carefully to minimise disruption and are installed directly to the staircase rather than the wall, meaning your décor remains largely unaffected.

Rent to Buy Scheme
If you rent a stairlift from AST Services Ltd and within the first two months you change your mind and wish to purchase it, you may do so at the original cost price as if you purchased it outright on the day you first rented it. There are no penalty costs involved, you won't lose any money you've spent on the rental.
