Renting is the most cost effective solution for anyone that finds stairs a problem but doesn't want to spend in excess of £2000 purchasing new equipment for what may only be a relatively short term requirement. We have worked to refine the installation process so that our lifts can be installed and removed with the minimum of damage to your décor.
Curved Stairlift Rental
To rent a simple curved stairlift, with one 90° bend, costs from just £950 including installation for the first six months then only £650 for each additional six months. Our prices are based upon the total number of bends required so increase depending on the complexity of the staircase and if a hinged track is required. This compares very favourably to the £6000 you would typically have to pay if you were buying a new one. Plus we can normally complete the installation within a few days of doing the survey - not the usual 3-5 weeks it takes when ordering a new one.
Our prices are fully inclusive, covering installation, breakdown cover in normal office hours* and removal at the end of the hire period.
* Normal Office Hours 0900-1700 Mon-Fri . Evenings, weekend, and Bank Holiday call-outs a labour fee of £120.00 is applicable however there is no charge for any parts.
Straight Stairlift Rental
Our basic straight rental price is £580 for up to one year fully inclusive with no weekly charges. Uniquely we offer a £100 refund if the stairlift is returned within the first two months. Installation is normally within a few working days of completing the site survey.

Rent to Buy Scheme
If you rent a stairlift from AST Services Ltd and within the first two months
you change your mind and wish to purchase it, you may do so at the original cost price as if you purchased it outright on the day you first rented it. There are no penalty costs involved, you won't lose any money you've spent on the rental.
