FAQs

How much does it cost to buy a stairlift?

The cost depends on the type of staircase and stairlift required. New straight stairlifts typically start from around £1,550, while reconditioned straight stairlifts are often available from around £950. Curved stairlifts are custom-made to your staircase, so pricing varies. We provide a free home assessment and no-obligation quotation.

What is the difference between new and reconditioned?

A new stairlift is manufactured specifically for you and comes with a longer manufacturer's guarantee. A reconditioned stairlift has been carefully refurbished, safety checked, and tested by our experienced engineers. Both options provide safe, reliable access to your home, with reconditioned models offering excellent value for money.

Do your stairlifts come with a guarantee?

Yes. Our reconditioned stairlifts include a 12-month parts and labour guarantee, while new straight stairlifts include a 2-year guarantee. Additional servicing and support options are also available for ongoing peace of mind.

Do you offer a buy-back option?

Yes. We provide a guaranteed buy-back price in writing when you purchase a stairlift from us. If your stairlift is no longer needed, we can often buy it back, helping to reduce the overall cost of ownership. Terms and conditions apply.

Are curved stairlifts more expensive?

Generally, yes. Unlike straight stairlifts, curved stairlifts are custom-manufactured to follow the exact shape and layout of your staircase. This makes them more complex to produce and install. We will assess your staircase and provide a clear quotation before any work begins.
